This is probably my favourite hairstyle that I’ve ever made, since it looks so complex, although in reality it is super simple and quick to make. It’s definitely easier if you can get someone else to do this braid on you, although I’ve managed to […]
Happy Saint David’s Day! – Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Sant Hapus!
Even though I am not currently living in Wales full time, I will always be Welsh through and through, and for that reason I wish you all a wonderful St David’s Day. Today is the day to wrap up warm with a bowl of cawl (which is perfect with all of this cold, snowy weather), and munch on a pile of Welsh cakes. St David’s Day is definitely not as busy now that I’m no longer in school, and I can’t help but say how much I loved the school Eisteddfod – although that may have been because we didn’t have to go to lessons. The overwhelming memory of performing either Calon Lan or the National Anthem at the end of the performances will always stick with me. Although, I can say for certain that I will never, ever miss those itchy outfits that we had to wear.
I hope you all have a brilliant day this St David’s Day!
‘Dreams And Dedication Are A Powerful Combination’
Never stop dreaming. If you really want something enough you’ll put in so much more work and time to make it come true. Dreams and dedication will give you discipline, and allow you to achieve results you could never have imagined.
‘Stop Being Afraid Of What Could Go Wrong, And Think Of What Could Go Right’ Don’t think of the negatives. You’re less likely to have a successful experience if you’re expecting the worst of the situation. Think positive, and be positive, and you’re much […]
I honestly could not tell you how this has come around so quickly, but somehow my little ol’ blog is officially 3 years in the making! I’ve put so much work and time into all of these posts and everything that gets done behind the scenes, but I wouldn’t wish to spend it any other way. I can’t believe how fast this time has flown by, and how my blog has developed leaps and bounds; from my first inexperienced blog post showing how to make hair bows that was only viewed by a handful of people, to this month reaching one of my biggest achievements of 1 million views since I bought out all rights to my blog in August! This past year has been the most successful year yet for Arty Allsorts, and I honestly have all of you reading this post right now to thank. Role on year 4, as I can’t wait to see what it brings. This year I really plan to have a better social media voice, and bring even better and more frequent content for you all, by managing my time better between university work and blogging. Thank you all once again for all of your support, comments and views!
