Dutch Braid Half Up-do

Dutch Braid Half Up-do

This is one of the hairstyles that I do most often. It’s a nice variation from just a regular dutch braid, and I prefer having part of my hair down as it helps keep the length to my hairstyle. I’m usually either doing a regular […]

QUOTE OF THE WEEK- Call it a Plan

‘Don’t Call it a Dream, Call it a Plan.’   It’s important to have aspirations to work towards. Instead of viewing these aspirations solely as ‘dreams’, you should instead view them as a ‘plan’, with the intention of making these come true. A ‘plan’ portrays […]

Worcester Walk

Worcester Walk

I went back on one of my favourite walks in Worcester, to the Diglis Locks, a couple of weeks ago with Dani. It was such a beautiful spring day, so we really had to make the most of the weather. On our way we saw […]

QUOTE OF THE WEEK- Doesn’t Mean You’re Lost…

‘Just Because Your Path Is Different Doesn’t Mean You’re Lost’   Everyone’s paths are different, but that’s only because we all want different things from life. So just because you’re life takes different turns definitely doesn’t mean that you’re taking the wrong turn. Often we […]

QUOTE OF THE WEEK- Step In The Right Direction…

‘Sometimes The Smallest Step In The Right Direction Ends Up Being The Biggest Step Of Your Life’

It’s not always about how big of a step you take, but more importantly it’s about whether you take that step to begin. It’s better to at least be walking forwards, rather than backwards. As long as you are gaining, you are winning.

Ribcage Braid Tutorial

Ribcage Braid Tutorial

This is probably my favourite hairstyle that I’ve ever made, since it looks so complex, although in reality it is super simple and quick to make. It’s definitely easier if you can get someone else to do this braid on you, although I’ve managed to […]

QUOTE OF THE WEEK- Much Stronger…

‘The One Who Falls And Gets Up Is So Much Stronger Than The One Who Never Fell’   If you don’t make mistakes, then you have nothing to learn. You can gain experience from mistakes, as they teach you what to change and what to […]

HAPPY ST DAVID’S DAY!

HAPPY ST DAVID’S DAY!

Happy Saint David’s Day! – Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Sant Hapus!

Even though I am not currently living in Wales full time, I will always be Welsh through and through, and for that reason I wish you all a wonderful St David’s Day. Today is the day to wrap up warm with a bowl of cawl (which is perfect with all of this cold, snowy weather), and munch on a pile of Welsh cakes. St David’s Day is definitely not as busy now that I’m no longer in school, and I can’t help but say how much I loved the school Eisteddfod – although that may have been because we didn’t have to go to lessons. The overwhelming memory of performing either Calon Lan or the National Anthem at the end of the performances will always stick with me. Although, I can say for certain that I will never, ever miss those itchy outfits that we had to wear.

I hope you all have a brilliant day this St David’s Day!

‘Life Is 10% What Happens To You, And 90% How You React To It’   If you walk into a negative experience it won’t be the end of the world. Instead what matters is how you react, and what you take from that experience. Take […]
